For Today

I have been reading these for a while on other's blogs and thought it would be a fun thing to join in with.

Please stop by The Simple Woman (http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com/)
for all the links entered in this week's Daybook (http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com/2008/06/simple-womans-daybook11.html)

Outside My Window... It is pouring with much needed rain. The wind is blowing the trees and it is a dark cold day.

I am thinking... Of my husband so far away and counting down the days until he returns (12)

I am thankful for... Finding out through my Ultrasound that all is ok with the baby. And that God has really blessed us with a beautiful unexpected suprise.

From the kitchen... I see my beautiful decorative windmill lying on its side due to the heavy wind last night.

I am wearing... a very daggy homemade black skirt that will be worn out by the end of this pregnancy and my favourite maternity top pink with lace around the neck and sleeves. Bare feet and favourite saphire dangle earings.

I am creating... A homeplanner and journal.

I am going... to our homeschooling groups sports outing, organized every second monday during term.

I am reading... The Unknown Ajax by Georgette Heyer and MOTHS (again!)

I am hoping... that I can get this organizing thing all together before the baby comes and it all falls apart!

I am hearing... Quiet (other than the wind and the rain) as all children are peacefully asleep.

Around the house... There are nappies to hang out, a bathroom to swish and swipe, Baby clothes to sort and organize, bananna muffins to make.

One of my favorite things... The bulbs that are just beginning to flower. I know winter is just beginning but the sight of jonquils flowering remind me that spring is coming.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Sunday School projects to finish, my first visit with my midwife and I get to meet the woman who will share and aid in the coming of our baby.

Here is picture thought I am sharing... Bunny with a butterfly she found.
